Chinese Navy Survey Ship Enters Japan Waters: The Chinese Navy Survey Ship was once again seen in the waters of Japan. The Japanese government has expressed deep concern over the alleged intrusion of the Chinese Navy and has warned China about it.

Japan’s Defense Ministry said a Chinese navy survey ship was seen entering the country’s territorial waters early Sunday (February 12) near Yakushima, an island in southern Kagoshima Prefecture, Japanese news agency Kyodo reported.

Japanese Defense Ministry gave this information about infiltration

According to a statement by the Japanese Defense Ministry, the Chinese ship entered Japan’s territorial waters at around 2:30 am local time and departed westward at 4:10 am. According to Kyodo, the Japanese government has conveyed its deep concern about the infiltration to China.

Chinese ship was seen in Japanese waters in December

Chinese ships are frequently seen entering Japanese territorial waters, which is a frequent source of conflict between the two countries. Kyodo said the most recent intrusion took place in December.

The Japanese Defense Ministry has also tweeted about the alleged intrusion of the Chinese ship. In this, it has been explained through the map that from where the Chinese Navy ship entered and where it came out. The Japanese Defense Ministry tweeted, “On February 12, it was confirmed that a Shupang-class survey ship of the Chinese Navy passed through Japan’s territorial waters near Yakushima Island.”

The ministry further said in the tweet, “This is the 10th time, the first time since December last year, when we announced the entry of a Chinese navy ship into Japanese waters.”
